Whereas the skimpy costume worn by Milla Jovovich’s flame-haired character, Leeloo, in The Fifth Element is well the film’s most enduring picture—adopted intently by the flashy stylings of Chris Tucker’s talk-show host Ruby Rhod—the Multi Move Leeloo totes round can also be a key a part of the story. How else might Leeloo and Bruce Willis’ Korben Dallas have crash-banged throughout house, in some way and possibly unintentionally saving the Earth from its destined conflict with evil invaders?
This key piece of ID brandished by Leeloo, who seems to be the flesh-and-blood embodiment of the movie’s title, goes up on the market in a Propstore public sale that includes a number of different objects from Luc Besson’s The Fifth Ingredient, although not one of the others are so meme-worthy.
MULTI PASS!
In response to a Propstore press launch, the catchphrase-sparking piece of galactic swag is anticipated to fetch between $59,400 and $118,800 at its upcoming Winter Leisure Memorabilia Public sale, which runs December 5-7 (full catalogue and the best way to bid here).
The auction site notes that this piece, which has been screen-matched, “is product of machined brass plate inset with an activation button and a custom-made ID card that includes printed pictures of a smiling Leeloo. Biometric data runs alongside the appropriate facet, with bank card and communications logos current on the backside. The printed sections of the cardboard are affixed to a styrene plate and glued in place with adhesive. When depressed, the button prompts a purple LED located on the body.”
That’s proper: it lights up, which is badass and simply could also be sufficient to allow you to sneak aboard the Fhloston Paradise.
